The dress is practically perfect but be warned, this is the type of fabric that almost anything will catch on creating snags.
There isn’t a way to fix that and you can’t cut off the extra pulled fabric at that point as it will create a hole in the delicate lace.
It’s not SO noticable since it’s black and the lace obscures it, but with each wear it will get worse just due to the nature of the fabric.
Bottom line: this dress is gorgeous but if it hadn’t been bought on sale along with using Torrid cash, it would be going back because it’s kind of expensive to get what may be a total of CAREFUL wears out of before the fabric will look too beat up and trashy to be seen in.
I’d recommend it but with caution and the understanding that it will be a somewhat temporary piece and not a long lasting closet staple.
